This is the art of painting any surface so that it exactly looks like real marble. This can greatly enhance any room adding a classical touch to the decor.

This is only a small sample of the many different styles that can be painted.

	This is a marble painted column in Schyros style marble. The capitals at the top and bottom of the column are painted in bronze. You will notice how the column blends in with the interior of the room. Click on the image to see more detail.		This looks as if it is an alcove. In fact it is a recess in the wall that is only one inch deep! The additional depth has been created by paint and the statue and flowers are painted onto a flat wall giving even more of a sense of depth. Even the marble borders are painted. The marble is Skyros (a Greek Marble) and Vert De Mer (a Dutch Marble).
		Here is another example of marble work on columns. The original columns in this house were plain white plaster. See how the colors of the marble have given a complete different but classical feel to this home.   Below are just a few examples of the many different types of marble I can paint.
