While I can paint wall
murals in any style, my specialization is in Trompe L'oeil. This is the art of making
what is not real seem real. Blank walls come to life as large windows
looking out into the world, ornaments seem to adorn walls but only upon
closer inspection are simply painted on. Below are just a few examples
of what can be done to beautify and give life to your restaurant, office, home or any other room.

This is a Trompe
l'oeil painted behind a bar counter of a water front home in
Florida.
The painting shows as
if there is a hole in the wall and you can see a beautiful sunset in
the distance.

This is a full and
complete wall painted in oil. Although it appears that this is an
archway leading onto a beautiful garden with statues on either side,
it is all in fact a flat wall.
Nothing is real,
everything is painted. A perfect example of trompe l'oeil.

THESE TROMPE L'OEIL
PAINTINGS ARE ON REMOVABLE PANELS
While both pictures appear
to have depth and the one seems to be a recess in a marble wall in which a
statue is displayed, and the other is a window overlooking a tranquil
meadow, these pieces are in fact painted on a completely flat
board / canvas!
They can be hung like
paintings or used as part of a wall panel.

This Trompe L'oeil is a
portion painted in the corner of a room.
A flat wall is transformed
into an impression of curtains flying in the wind.

Another Trompe L'oeil painted
on a wall gives the feeling of an open air window or window sill. The
wall appears to be marble but this is just a plain wall with the marble
effect and "window" painted on it.

This Trompe L'oeil was
painted partially on the ceiling to give a feeling that there was hole in

In this piece only the floor
and counter are real, all else is painted. The shelves on the wall, the
ornaments and the doorway are all Trompe L'oeil - an illusion.

This is a completely
blank wall; the stone wall and background is all painted on.
By clicking on the picture you
will be able to zoom back and see how this affected the room on which it was
painted. |

The only item in this entire
picture that is real is the plant on the bottom left. All else including the
cupboard, bowl, pitcher, clock and doorway are painted.

In this room much of
what you see is real. The tables, the chair and even the fish tank is real,
but the fish above the tank are not real.
